Hiking the PCT 6 Months Pregnant | Behind the scenes vlog
I’ve always known I would go back to visit sections of the Pacific Crest Trail after my thru hike, but I didn’t think I’d get the chance to go back so soon! Earlier this year, I received a really cool invitation from @AdidasTerrex to return back and hike a few small sections of trail in Southern California and share some of my stories. Being six months pregnant, it was hard not to think about how much has changed in a year and how my thru-hike shaped who I am today. This week’s video is a behind-the-scenes view into the video shoot but also my real/raw reactions to what it felt like to be back on the Pacific Crest Trail.
Want to watch the full 5-min video we made? Here’s the link: ua-cam.com/video/g_CP9Q1qmKk/v-deo.html
While out on the trail, I got the chance to test out the @AdidasTerrex Free Hiker 2 trail shoes, and I absolutely fell in love. These shoes were designed for and tested on the Pacific Crest Trail and are truly made to make the miles. With traction and cushion meant to last up to 1,000 miles, these shoes would far outlive most others you see out there on the trail. You can find these shoes, along with all the other Terrex gear I’m wearing in the video here: bit.ly/3U9HhTc

Excellent video. People learn so much from brave souls like you who break the trail. One thing out of all the gear you kept or sent home for me that would be a priority and an always keep is your 2 water bladder bags. One is none applies here as your bag split reflects and because water is so crucial. I come from the prepareness mentality and there could be just so many situations especially in that part of the country where you just may have to be more self sufficient meaning not relying on resuppy or towns always handy or even other people. Natural disasters especially big ones is what comes to mind. Since you can actually boil water to make it safe not having a back up filter is maybe understandable. But i would still have one. Having a back up lighter would be key on my list too. And one more thing a SWAT T and mainly because it can be used as a compression wrap as well as a tourniquet. The thing is so small and lite i have one in every med kit. I have seen people use these to self rescue where it would not have been possible really without it. So with the CNock for 1L at 2.8 ounces, the back up Bic at 1.6 ounces and the SWAT T at 4 ounces= 7.14 ounces and probably lighter then a phone holder or selfie stick which will not save your life. Neither will ____ whatever luxury item, face cream, amera gear in general or whatever.

Yesterday I just bought a 2017 Transit connect. I totally understand the frustration of selling/buying. Every time Id find the exact one, It was one thing after another. JUST remember, no matter the conversion. THE KELLY BLUE BOOK price range IS WHAT LOANS base on. PLEASE if ur selling your conversion, PLEASE SAY whether it is registered as a rv, or vehicle van only. Often the increase in price of the tech involved, self sustainable, from solar panels to inverters. THE instant the banking institutions see it. DENIED loan as the cost asking price is way above the KELLY blue book. Three times I thought i had my conversion bought. But if it wasnt within blue book, deny. I totally understand charging for the tech involved, as I APPRECIATED it being all done. As a clueless women, unskilled at such things. Instead I will use portable systems i.e the jackery w/ mobile folding solars. For water the usb charged pump that connects right to your 3-5 gallon jugs. THESE are tiny spaces. I think it came out four ft wide by six feet from back doors to back of driver seat. I am leaving the interior walls as they are. as I will only be weekending it in my rig at this time. Being a passenger van, not a work van, the interior is too pretty and in excellent shape to start ripping it apart. As i feel it must already be shielded w/ vapor barriers etc, factory set. WE shall see, I pick her up tomorrow, and I will be videoing the whole experience. As im an old disabled lady on the last leg of this adventure we call life. YOUNG AND wild at heart. See u out on the black ribbon! fyi, (truck driver term for highways) Safe journey #vanlife

I mean how do you do anything. I'd want some privacy. I don't want to hear others move and fart and burp and masturbste. I'd be going there to get away from people.
